Shipping
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is flat-rate, never a live carrier quote. Every category has its own "first item" fee (minimum $5) and its own smaller "each additional item" fee. When your cart has more than one item, whichever item resolves to the highest first-item fee becomes your order's base shipping charge — every other item in the cart then adds its own category's additional-item fee on top.
Why the highest-fee item, and not just the first one I added?
So the order you add items in never changes your total. If it were based on cart order, you could lower your shipping just by adding a cheap-to-ship item first — charging the highest resolved fee as the base keeps it consistent no matter what order you shop in.
Can you give me an example?
Say you add a Kitchen item (first-item fee $8, additional-item fee $2) and an Electronics item (first-item fee $6, additional-item fee $3.50). The Kitchen item has the higher first-item fee, so it becomes the $8 base. The Electronics item is now "additional" and adds its own category's additional fee — $3.50, not Kitchen's $2. Total shipping: $11.50. Your cart page always shows this breakdown before you check out.
Do you ever charge live carrier rates?
No. Flat-rate only, set per category by us — what you see on the item and cart pages is exactly what you'll pay.
Condition & Authenticity
What condition are these items in?
About 80% of what we sell is overstock or shelf-pull inventory — genuinely new in the box, often still sealed. The other ~20% is used, but it only makes the listing if it grades New or Like-New. We don't list broken, incomplete, or heavily worn items.
Is everything real / genuine?
Yes — we buy real, sourced overstock and returns pallets, and inventory every item ourselves. Nothing on the site is a replica or a "similar item." Where an item still has its original tags, we note it as NWT (New With Tags).
What does the condition label on each item mean?
Every listing is tagged New, Open Box, Used – Good, Used – Fair, or Damaged (damaged items, when listed at all, are always disclosed and priced accordingly). We also note size, color, brand, and any other relevant specs directly on the item page.
Returns
What's your return policy?
All sales are final — items are sold AS-IS, with no returns. We inspect and photograph everything ourselves before it's listed and disclose condition honestly, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.
Why no returns?
Selling AS-IS keeps our overhead low, which is a big part of how we're able to price at 25% of MSRP or less. Accepting returns on liquidation inventory (much of it one-of-a-kind) would mean charging more to cover restocking and repackaging costs — we'd rather pass that savings on to you.
Pricing
How are prices set?
Everything is priced at or below 25% of MSRP. Where there's a compare-at price shown with a strikethrough, that's the actual retail MSRP — the price next to it is what you pay.
Why so much cheaper than retail?
We buy by the pallet, not by the unit, and we sell AS-IS with no returns. Both of those keep our costs down, and we pass the savings straight through instead of pricing closer to retail.
Mystery Boxes
What are LootMove Mystery Boxes?
Two options, both coming soon: Build Your Own, where you pick an item count and which pallet(s) or category(ies) to pull from, and Pre-Packed, ready-made boxes we've already put together. Both draw from the same real, in-stock inventory as the rest of the site — never filler.
When are they launching?
We don't have a firm date yet. Check back on the homepage — we'll announce here and there when they're live.
Account & Payment
Do I need an account to buy?
An account gets you order history and a saved address book, but isn't required to check out.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Card details are entered directly into a Stripe-hosted payment field embedded on our checkout page — your card number never touches our servers. Accounts also support optional two-factor authentication (TOTP, via any authenticator app) for extra security.
